Introduction

This page is a continuation of my Pink Floyd page on the topic of album & movie synchronicity (or synchronization). To enjoy a sync, simply play the chosen movie with the sound turned off, and play the appropriate CD at the same time. Turning on the captions can enhance the experience. Specific instructions for each sync are given on this web page.

Special Notes

30.06.23Today, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Yes World of Movie Syncs.  I don't have a new sync to reveal, but I'm enjoying their latest releases.  I'm sure we'll find some more syncs...

We were saddened by the passing of legendary drummer Alan White on 26.05.22.  Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

30.06.18Today, we celebrate the 5th anniversary of this Yes sync page by revealing the third sync from this band on the same day they visit Detroit.

30.06.15We were saddened by the passing of the legendary musician Chris Squire on 27.06.15.  Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.

11.08.14Yes did not disappoint, putting on another great show, this time at Meadow Brook in Auburn Hills.  The three of us had a really nice time on a pleasant summer evening.  The music was perfect as Yes played Close to the Edge and Fragile in their entireties.  They also played a new song and a couple from The Yes Album.  The crowd was really into the show, cheering enthusiastically the whole night.  Coincidentally or synchronously, the band's new album Heaven & Earth was released the same day (22.07.14) as this concert.  I like to believe that it's their way of letting us know we're on the right track...

16.04.14I purchased three tickets to see Yes at Meadow Brook on 22.07.14.  The tickets are under the pavilion in row T, seats 101, 102, & 103.  I invited my uncle Rick to the show again.  I'm looking forward to this show and the entire Fragile album live.

30.06.13Today, I am pleased to expand the secret movie/music sync theory to include yet another one of my favorite bands, Yes.  The shirt I bought at their Spring 2013 concert in Detroit had several dragons flying on it, and it sparked my imagination.  A closer look at their latest CD Fly from Here offered more clues.  The secret is now revealed...
