This page is a continuation of my Pink Floyd page on the topic of album & movie synchronicity (or synchronization). To enjoy a sync, simply play the chosen movie with the sound turned off, and play the appropriate CD at the same time. Turning on the captions can enhance the experience. Specific instructions for each sync are given on this web page.
Special Notes
11.11.24 - My uncle Rick and I enjoyed Yes & Deep Purple live on 22.08.24 at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill. The seats were centrally located, giving us a great view of the stage. Yes sounded great and played a nice selection of their classic tunes. Deep Purple rocked the house and played both new and classic songs. All in all, it was an excellent show! Thanks for touring together.
30.06.24 - I purchased two tickets to see Deep Purple & Yes live on 22.08.24 at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill. The seats are located in Section 200B, Row NN, Seats 219 & 220. This is an interesting pairing of two of my favorite bands, which I added to this Movie Syncs website on the same day 11 years ago. I don't believe this "teaming up together" for this tour is coincidental. Definitely looking forward to this show!
30.06.23 - Today, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Deep Purple Movie Sync Puzzle. I don't have a new sync to reveal, but I've enjoyed their latest offerings. Maybe someone will put the pieces together and solve the next movie sync puzzle...
30.06.18 - Today, we celebrate the 5th anniversary of this Deep Purple sync page by revealing only the second sync from this band. Enjoy!
07.10.17 - My uncle Rick and I had a great time at the Deep Purple & Alice Cooper show on 03.09.17. Alice Cooper and his band put on a spectacular show! He coupled great songs with interesting theatrics to entertain us. I was thoroughly impressed. I have a sneaky suspicion that Alice Cooper may be a sync creator as well. His latest album Paranormal and many of his earlier albums were produced by Bob Ezrin, who also worked with Pink Floyd. We shall see... Then Deep Purple showed us that they still know how to jam! They played a nice selection of classics and new songs. If this is indeed their final tour, they gave their fans a great closing to a long rock & roll career. Thank you!
16.04.17 - I purchased two tickets to see Deep Purple & Alice Cooper live on 03.09.17 at DTE Energy Music Theatre. The seats are located in Section LT5, Row Z, Seats 39 & 40. This will be my first time seeing Alice Cooper live. Should be a great show.
07.08.15 - The first band we watched on 04.08.15 at Freedom Hill was Blue Oyster Cult. Even though I'm not very familiar with their body of work, I did enjoy their songs, especially the three popular ones I did know. The band, however, that I was anxious to see was Deep Purple. Wow... What a spectacular show! They played a good mix of classic tunes and new material. The sound quality was high, and the stage performance was entertaining. These guys rocked! I'm so glad that I finally got to see them live. Thanks for stopping in the Detroit area!
30.07.15 - I purchased two tickets to see Deep Purple live on 04.08.15 at Freedom Hill. The seats are located in Section 200A, Row HH, Seats 217 & 218. This show is extra special to me, since it will be my first time seeing them live! I invited my uncle Rick, since he introduced me to Deep Purple many years ago.
30.06.13 - Today, I am pleased to expand the secret movie/music sync theory to include yet another one of my favorite bands, Deep Purple. The cover of their latest CD "Now What?!" is mostly white with purple lettering painted on it. It reminds me of The Wall from Pink Floyd and The White Album from The Beatles. That was all I needed to come up with an interesting combination.
